The main tank at the aquarium holds 3 million litres of salt water, 700 tonnes of rock, 200 tonnes of sand and is home to 240 species of fish and120 species of hard corals |

Salt water is pumped out of Ross Creek. It goes through huge sand filters before entering the main tank where it is filtered by protien skimmers which pump at 50 litres per ` second. The entire tank can be filtered in 16 hours |

The predator tank protein filters also pump at 50 litres per second and cleans all the water every 4 hours |
