Our Role Model Alistair McIntyre was very well received by all students at the assembly. He was very much the average kiwi bloke, made good, through his efforts to improve his reading and writing skills. He took the students through the process of making a children’s book. He related very well to the students. They all enjoyed his entertaining presentation. He sent the right message about valuing literacy, both reading and writing. Our playcentre group attended and enjoyed the show too.
